The Times They are a Changing...

and so is the menu every Wednesday night at David Burke Fromagerie. Two Jersey boys - Celebrity Chef David Burke and Bob Sickles, third-generation owner/operator of the 101 year-old Sickles Market in Little Silver - have teamed up to treat patrons to a $35.00 prix fixed 3-course menu featuring the best of the week’s local harvest along with Jersey Made gourmet products.

“New Jersey is bursting with flavorful ingredients,” says Chef David Burke, “from summer produce and salt water taffy to barbecued ribs and Taylor Pork Roll, we’ve got it all. We are excited about presenting our customers with new and surprising menus each week.”

I GOT CRUNCHIFIED...

and I liked it!

A layer of chips may add a layer to the hips but what a way to go! NJSL caught up with Bobby Flay at the opening of Bobby’s Burger Palace (BBP), where every juicy burger can be ordered “crunchified” with a layer of potato chips. Orders are placed fast food style but a server will bring the order to your table where you’ll find an array of tasty sauces with a nod to Flay’s signature south-western style.

Grilling your own? Check-out Flay’s tips for making the best burger in NJSL’s August feature, Grillin’ and Chillin’.
